Two easy steps to reuse or recycle your candle jars...
1. Get the wax out of the candle jar
With the candle on a heat-safe surface, pour boiling water directly into the candle jar and leave some room at the top. The hope is that the melted wax will float to the top. Wait for the water to cool and the wax to harden a little, then simply pick it out.
Another trick is to pop it in the freezer for a few hours – the candle wax will contract and it should just come right out
2. Reuse or recycle your candle jar
Use decorative jars to organize your makeup and brushes in one place. For your bathroom needs, use the jars to hold your toothbrush, toothpaste, Q-tips, really anything that you need to organize and maximize counter space. For coffee or tea storage or simply as a coffee mug (if suitable).
