Housed in its distinctive green apple-shaped bottle, Eden was created in 1994 by the celebrated perfumer Serge Lutens as a surreal, garden-of-paradise fantasy. Mandarin orange, peach, bergamot and lemon open juicy and bright, before an enormous bouquet of mimosa, pineapple, tuberose, melon and jasmine builds a lush, exotic floral heart. Sandalwood, tonka bean and patchouli settle into a warm, woody base. It remains one of the more genuinely strange and memorable florals of the 1990s.
