How to make your candle

1. Select a clean, sturdy and heat-resistant candle vessel.
2. Remove the wick and wooden wick holder from the wax pouch.
3. Position the open wax pouch upright inside a microwave-safe dish.
4. Heat the pouch in the microwave according to the supplied instructions until the wax has melted.
5. If the wax has not completely melted, continue heating in careful 20-second intervals.
6. Thread the wick through the wooden holder and centre it inside the vessel.
7. Carefully pour the melted fragranced wax into the prepared vessel.
8. Leave the candle undisturbed for approximately 24 hours or until completely set.
9. Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before lighting.

Choosing a suitable candle vessel

Always use a stable, heat-resistant container designed to withstand the heat of a burning candle. Suitable options may include sturdy candle glass, glazed ceramic, enamel or sealed metal candle tins.

Do not use plastic, thin glass, cracked containers, wood, coconut shells, porous terracotta or other flammable or unsuitable materials. The selected vessel must be clean, dry and free from damage before the melted wax is added.

Candle care and safety

• Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before each burn
• Place the finished candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface
• Never leave a burning candle unattended
• Keep away from draughts, curtains and flammable materials
• Keep out of reach of children and pets
• Do not move the candle while the wax is hot or liquid
• Discontinue use if the candle vessel becomes damaged
